Role Overview:

This position focuses on the development of scalable microservices using Python and Flask, with integration and deployment across AWS services. The developer will design RESTful APIs, employ API-first principles, and ensure robust deployment, testing, and debugging of microservices. The role also leverages AWS tools like Lambda, S3, and API Gateway for solution integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable, resilient microservices using Python and Flask
• Create and manage RESTful APIs following best practices
• Integrate microservices with AWS infrastructure components — API Gateway, Lambda, S3
• Deploy, maintain, and monitor microservices on AWS for high availability
• Write and execute unit tests and integration tests; debug and resolve issues efficiently
• Optionally leverage containerization (Docker), CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools (CloudWatch, X-Ray) for enhanced automation and visibility

Key Technical Skills:

Requirements:

• 3–6 years of relevant experience in Python development and AWS microservices architecture
• Proficiency in Python, Flask, and AWS cloud services
• Good understanding of API design principles and RESTful architectures
• Hands-on experience integrating and deploying services with AWS
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Collaborative team player with strong communication skills
• Experience working in Agile environments and delivering solutions independently and as part of cross-functional teams

Preferred:

• Experience with Docker/containerization, CI/CD automation, and AWS monitoring tools (CloudWatch/X-Ray)
